Move-In/Move-Out

There's a HUGE difference between a regular, residential cleaning and a move-out clean. While you might think it's easier to clean an empty home, it's actually much more difficult. When you consider that the space has to be ready for someone else to move in, it's easy to see how much more time is involved in cleaning an empty place.

In the Kitchen

The appliances have to be empty and clean. They have to look like new (or as close to new as possible).

The cupboards have to be wiped out. They're empty. There's usually dust, spices, and little pieces of miscellaneous left-behind stuff that needs to be wiped out. Most regular cleanings don't involve cupboard interiors.

Sinks are cleaned and polished.

Ceiling Fans and Light Fixtures

Fans are cleaned. Not just dusted. Globes need to be removed and cleaned. Burned-out bulbs are replaced.

Bathrooms

Again, it should look like new. This means the fixtures are cleaned and polished. The tub and shower are free of dirt, mildew, and soap scum. The toilet is cleaned thoroughly, including all the little bolts and hinges where gunk gathers.

Closets

Closets don't get much regular attention from cleaning services. Unless the client specifically asks, in a residential cleaning, the closets don't get any love at all. If the house is empty, the walls and ceilings and shelves of the closets get dusted/cleaned.

Molding, chair rails, baseboards, etc.

These all get cleaned.  And where the furniture used to be? Most of the time, there's extra dust there after the furniture gets moved.

These are just the highlights of a move-out cleaning. We want to help make your house more presentable if it's going on the market. If you're moving out of a rental property, we do our best to help you get that security deposit returned.
